About MetaCrawler
Overview
MetaCrawler is simply the easiest way to find better search results from more of the Web.
Get Better Results, Easier
MetaCrawler.com utilizes metasearch technology to compile results from many of the Web's major search properties, delivering more relevant and comprehensive results every time you search.
By accessing multiple search engines for each query, MetaCrawler.com provides you with a richer and more relevant spectrum of results than you would from using any single search engine.
MetaCrawler was originally developed in 1994 at the University of Washington by then graduate student Erik Selberg and Associate Professor Oren Etzioni. The site joined the InfoSpace Network in 2000 and is owned and operated by InfoSpace, Inc.
